Applications are screened by a divisional committee based on the application including reference letters that document the applicant’s clinical excellence. Selected candidates will then be invited for an interview. Deadline for submission of all application material (through ERAS) is Wednesday, August 31, 2024.

This year we will also be offering second looks. This visit will provide you with an opportunity to meet current faculty and fellows in person and gain a deeper understanding of the unique opportunities available at our institution. In adherence with the guidelines recommended by the Association of Pediatric Program Directors (APPD), applicants will not meet with program leadership during the in-person visit and the program leadership will not be made aware of the applicant’s visit. Your decision whether or not to schedule a second look will not impact the creation of our program’s rank list. Once your interview date is confirmed, we will send you additional information regarding the second look, including scheduling options and logistics.

Our Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship program is part of the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). Please contact the NRMP at 202-828-0676 for any information or questions concerning this matter.

J-1 visas are accepted.
