Application Process

Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowships use ERAS for applications. Your application and the following items are required for a complete application through ERAS:

• Curriculum vitae (MUST include months and years)
• Personal statement
• Three letters of recommendation
• A copy of your Dean’s letter from your medical school (sent from your medical school directly to ERAS)
• A current photograph
• USMLE Step Scores

2024 application cycle

ERAS opens for applicants to begin compiling materials	June 7, 2023
July cycle fellowship applicants may begin submitting applications to July cycle fellowship programs	July 19, 2023

NRMP match opens	August 23, 2023
NRMP ranking opens	September 27, 2023
NRMP quota change deadline	November 1, 2023
NRMP ranking/ordering closes	November 15, 2023
NRMP match day	November 29, 2023

Applications are screened by a divisional committee based on the application including reference letters that document the applicant’s clinical excellence. Selected candidates will then be invited for an interview. Deadline for submission of all application material (through ERAS) is Wednesday, August 31, 2023.
